Bullet Club star Jay White admits that he wants to face former WWE Champion Randy Orton in a dream match
Former IWGP Heavyweight Champion and AEW wrestler Jay White has admitted that he wants to face fifteen-time WWE Champion Randy Orton in a dream match.
He recently conversed on The Sessions with Renee Paquette, where he was asked about his dream match, and he mentioned Randy Orton. He also recalled watching Orton in action in 2004.
“I really don’t sit here and think about, you know, risking if I want to wrestle someone. It takes up enough of my time. So when I’m not at risk, I don’t want to think about it. Sometimes I think I should have a better answer for that to at least human people. So I think the easiest one to go with is, I’ll just say, Randy Orton. Just purely because when I first started watching in 2004, he was kind of the first guy that got behind here, just left Evolution, and the first pay-per-view I watched was Survivor Series 2004.”
Paquette took to Twitter and shared her podcast, where White talked about a lot of stuff,
White is currently signed to New Japan Pro Wrestling and is working for NJPW STRONG in the US. Over the past few months, he has appeared in AEW and has also been a regular on IMPACT Wrestling.
Jay White talked about his experience in AEW
White has stepped through the “forbidden door” of AEW and made a few appearances in All Elite Wrestling. He even picked up a win over Trent Beretta on AEW Rampage.
During the conversation with Paquette, he opened up about his appearances in AEW and how it revolved around mending relationships with ex-members of Bullet Club.
“I think there is a cool opportunity there for me to go back and maybe mend some of those relationships and connections with some of the guys that left. That’s kind of what I was doing at AEW which I think I mentioned at the time. I have no issue with The Young Bucks, I know guys like Tama [Tonga] and T [Tonga Loa] may have had issue with The Young Bucks, I don’t have issues with them. I don’t even have issues with Kenny [Omega], I know some people think we do, but I know that Tama had issues with him.” (46:15-46:38) (H/T Sportskeeda Wrestling)
