Jake and Logan Paul are hated by many, but it’s a smart business tactic
If you’re above the age of 14 and into combat sports, pro wrestling, or even YouTube, chances are you already dislike Jake and Logan Paul pretty heavily.
The two American brothers have risen tremendously in the past few years after they gained fame (or notoriety) on YouTube.
And while it’s not the only way to progress and make money, it certainly is the best business model if you work in the areas they work in.
The stuff that comes out of their mouths and the level of delusion the two seem to possess is too ridiculous to be real. They do it to stay relevant.
And it works. When you get people to dislike you so heavily, they will pay heavily to see you get beaten, all while keeping you in the papers and the headlines.
JBL praises Jake and Logan Paul after Floyd Mayweather fight is confirmed
Portraying similar views earlier this week was former WWE star, John ‘Bradshaw’ Layfield, AKA JBL after news broke that Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul finally have a new date for their boxing match.
He quoted the tweet of the announcement and praised the two for being the best heels in the world, and wrote:
“Who says you can’t get heat these days? Best heels in the world-the Paul brothers, and they both are getting paid. Heat sells-it ALWAYS has.”
The fight was actually set for 20th February but was postponed. It will now take place on June 6, 2021, in Miami on Showtime.
It’s not a pretty sight seeing the scientific and artistic sport of boxing being reduced to a playground for just about any relevant personality to come in and make money from.
But that’s unfortunately the way the world works too. Money talks and this fight will generate tons of it.
