WWE Superstar Jimmy Uso was arrested on Monday night for misdemeanor and DUI
WWe star Jimmy Uso (real name Jonathan Fatu) had a blood-alcohol content of .205, 2.5 times the legal limit of .08.
Things got worse for him as he was arrested on Monday, in addition to the DUI charge.
Now, Vince McMahon and other executive members are reportedly furious with the incident and are ready to take action against him.
Several “high level people in power” are furious and blame it on poor personal judgment. The officials are said to be annoyed at the frequency of the occurences perhaps hurting the company’s image (h/t Cageside seats).
However, according to Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer, there is a contrasting claim also emerging stating that there is no “internal fallout” between the two parties. It is possible that an understanding can be reached. Uso has been a high-profile Superstar on WWE SmackDown, which is why the backstage members are willing to settle things amicably.
Uso was arrested in Detroit in February 2019 and charged with disorderly conduct and obstruction after exiting the vehicle during a traffic stop when his wife and WWE Superstar Naomi, was the driver. He was arrested again in Pensacola in July 2019 on the charges of “driving with an unlawful blood-alcohol level.”
Jimmy missed over one year of action after suffering a torn ACL at WrestleMania 36 in 2020. He is back since May and has been involved in a major storyline on SmackDown.
Uso has turned a corner in his career, since becoming the right-hand man of his cousin, Roman Reigns. The WWE Universal Champion Reigns has gone on to another level in 2021 with the ‘Head of the Table’ gimmick.
Uso has improved in singles action and has also featured in main events on the blue brand beating the likes of Dolph Ziggler. The WWE has been pushing the Superstar, who has had a stellar 2021 so far.
However, the latest infraction is a bit of a blot for him, since he has been arrested a few times.
