Jinder Mahal reacts after stealing the sword of former friend Drew McIntyre
Jinder Mahal got his point across to former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre after their clash on WWE RAW.
After his match against McIntyre, Mahal stole his sword and made a statement talking about the lineage and family history of the Scottish Psychopath.
He posted on Instagram, saying:
“New toy to add to the collection. #ThankYouDrew #MotorcycleMahal”
Mahal was seen with Veer and Shanky, seen on WWE NXT over the last year. The former WWE Champion Mahal was seeking vengeance from McIntyre, who felt that he had been sidelined during the Scotsman’s title reign.
Veer and Shanky got involved in the match, causing a DQ win for McIntyre.
Drew McIntyre did well to tackle Veer and Shanky, but Mahal appeared again with a superkick. Mahal finished off McIntyre with the Khallas.
To make things worse, Mahal rushed up the ramp and stole McIntyre’s sword. The sword was a family heirloom that McIntyre loved dearly.
After his unsuccessful attempt at regaining the WWE title, it looks like McIntyre is now going to be involved in a bitter feud with Mahal, who is returning from a long-term injury.
What is the history between Mahal and McIntyre?
Before making their significant rises in WWE, the duo were part of 3MB, which stood for 3 Man Band. It consisted of Jinder Mahal, Heath Slater and Drew McIntyre. For about two years, 3MB spent time in the lower mid-card of the tag division, constantly disappointing with their performances which did not seem to get the WWE Universe buzzing.
After the disbanding of the team, the two have had a parallel rise in the company with both becoming WWE Champions. McIntyre and Mahal have both become big stars in WWE, since their young days.
It will be interesting to see how the rivalry pans out with the past history and with Mahal aligning with Veer and Shanky.
