Jinder Mahal is back in WWE action but is spotted with a new faction
Indian WWE superstar, Jinder Mahal, was once the WWE heavyweight champion. But things have not gone in his favour recently, with him enjoying little to no screen-time.
That can be largely down to his injury that he suffered in mid-2020. But he was still seen in action when WWE held the Superstar Spectacle event for their Indian audience back in January 2021.
Then, Mahal was seen teaming up with The Bollywood Boyz in a losing effort against Drew McIntyre and Indus Sher, which is a tag team made up of Saurav Gurjar and Rinku Singh.
It also turned out to be the last fight for Indus Sher, up until now. Tapings from the pre-RAW WWE Main Event showed Mahal and Indus Sher in action.
But the surprising thing was that the 3 of them seemed to be on Jinder’s side. (h/t WrestlingInc)
Warning: Spoilers Ahead
Some spoilers from the Main Event tapings show Mahal taking on Jeff Hardy, and Indus Sher then holding up Jinder’s hands after his victory.
It is a surprising alliance and an even surprising return to action for the trio considering all of them hadn’t wrestled after the Superstar Spectacle tapings.
Also on the Main Event is Ricochet vs Mustafa Ali. It seems like this Main Event episode will be one of the most exciting ones that WWE has put out yet considering these are matchups that could even take place on the main roster.
Talking of the main roster, the promotion saw one of its rising stars make the step up from Main Event and 205 to RAW.
Mansoor, the 25-eyar-old Saudi Arabian, appeared on RAW this week and was straight away put in the United States title match against Sheamus.
