Former WWE Champion John Cena teases fans about return

16- time World Champion John Cena teased the WWE Universe when asked about his return at Summerslam in August this year.

Cena was speaking in an interview to promote his latest film F9: The Fast Saga. When quizzed as to what would he be doing on August 21, he replied : “Hopefully, enjoying the summer. I don’t know.”

WWE are planning for John Cena to make his long-awaited return at Summerslam against WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. His last appearance was at WrestleMania 36 in a match against Bray Wyatt.

Hitchcock then asked if he would be enjoying in Las Vegas (the site of SummerSlam). Cena pretended to be confused and asked what was in Vegas. When asked about SummerSlam directly, Cena laughed and gave her props for the manner in which she posed the question.

Cena is the former face of WWE before his move to Hollywood. He did not appear at this year’s WrestleMania as well.

He cost his cousins the Tag Team Championship on SmackDown and is in a feud with the Mysterio family. He is set to face Rey Mysterio at Hell in a Cell. Reigns ended this week’s SmackDown tossing Dominik Mysterio out of the ring in a shocking moment.

Reigns and Cena share a rivalry from the past facing off at No Mercy 2017 with Reigns winning the match. This time around, the situation looks very different. Reigns is the biggest heel in WWE and will be welcoming a 16-time Champion with open arms.
