John Cena had some kind words for Brock Lesnar recently
Former WWE Champion John Cena believes that Brock Lesnar could be one of the best in the industry. Cena recently joined That Scene with Dan Patrick Podcast show where he spoke about his acting career and his comeback to wrestling.
He mentioned Lesnar trying to stretch boundaries and considered him as one of the best in WWE. Cena also spoke about Lesnar sporting a ponytail, but he was more concerned about the size of The Beast.
He was quoted on the show That Scene with Dan Patrick as saying (h/t Wrestling Inc):
“I didn’t notice the ponytail.
“I noticed that he was the size of two Brock Lesnar’s, that’s pretty much it. He looks mean and nasty no matter what, and I just think he’s trying to stretch the boundaries of that to see what he can pull off. But he’s an anomaly. He’s one of, if not the best ever.”
The Beast has always created carnage in WWE with his attacks on some of the biggest WWE superstars, including The Undertaker, Goldberg and even The Rock. Lesnar is an eight-time World Champion in WWE and recently returned to the promotion after a gap of almost two years.
He was the undisputed year-long WWE Universal Champion in the year 2017-18. This showcases that The Beast can be considered as one of the all-time greats.
Brock Lesnar attacked John Cena at the end of Summerslam
The sixteen-time WWE World Champion made a comeback and faced off against Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Title at Summerslam. Lesnar made a surprise return at Summerslam after the Reigns vs Cena match.
The Beast confronted Reigns and then attacked Cena in the post-show segment, as seen from the recently released footage by WWE. The footage saw Lesnar grab Cena and leave him lying after a few German suplexes and an F5.
