John Cena and Randy Orton were two of the top superstars in WWE since their debuts. The two immensely popular wrestlers have a combined 30 world championships between them which is surreal.

John Cena and Randy Orton have had many great matches over the years. While their chemistry in the ring is outstanding, they also share a great bond outside the ring as well.

It would be a surprise if both these amazing athletes don’t find themselves in the WWE Hall of Fame somewhere down the line. As of now, Randy Orton is one-half of the WWE RAW Tag Team Champions while John Cena is focusing on his jam-packed Hollywood schedule and was last seen in a WWE ring back in SummerSlam 2021 where he lost a match against Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship.

The leader of Cenation tweeted his respect and appreciation for the Viper. The Marine star wrote how he respects Orton for all his achievements. Cena added that it’s Orton’s maturity and growth as a human being that makes him admire the third-generation superstar.

Update on John Cena’s return to WWE in 2022

The 16-time champion John Cena is a fan favorite and the WWE Universe is always waiting to see him back in the ring. However, his appearances have been few and far between, owing to his Hollywood commitments.

Reports are in regarding Cena’s potential WWE return this year. Brad Shepard reported on his Unleashed Patreon, that Cena might be in the mix to make his comeback by the second half of 2022.

“I spoke with a source in WWE today, and they told me John Cena is expected back in late June of this year. I don’t have a more specific time frame or the creative plan yet. But I do know he’ll be showing his face.”

If this turns out to be true, it’s going to be great news for the fans as very few wrestlers have the ability to captivate them as Cena does.
