Randy Orton spoke with Stone Cold Steve Austin recently and John Cena shared his thoughts on the same

Randy Orton spoke with Stone Cold Steve Austin on the Broken Skulls podcast recently. One segment was shared by WWE which brought up how the RKO finisher was made.

Orton thanked several people for helping him with the finisher. Austin also brought up how there was the Diamond Cutter and that was one move that was used to create the RKO.

Orton also got help from John Laurinaitus in making the RKO and there was a hilarious story of how the name came.

The Viper is called Randy Keith Orton and was thinking of KO and RKO. Vince McMahon was walking past him and Orton suggested the RKO name for his finisher. Without missing a beat McMahon approved of the name and just walked past Orton.

Austin and Orton then compared some of the crazy finishes they have had with their respective moves. Some of these were amazing including the one against Seth Rollins a few years back.

John Cena praises Randy Orton

Cena is another legend in the wrestling business and although he hasn’t wrestled in over a year, he still chimes in once in a while.

He has faced Orton several times in the business and brought up how great Orton is:

“I’ve known @RandyOrton for nearly two decades and have been vocal about his in-ring ability and natural talent. This was a great interview and an honest look at the man I know, hosted by @steveaustinBSR who has seen it all & done it all in @WWE. GREAT interview.”

Orton will go down as one of the greatest ever and he has done everything that the WWE asks of him. He is currently in a feud with The Fiend and the pair are set to meet at WrestleMania.

This seems set to be another cinematic feud unless WWE thinks of something else since the fans are going to be present in the Raymond James Arena.
