John Cena had some interesting words to share as he returns to WWE action after almost two years

WWE Money in the Bank 2021 ended with a couple of shocking notes. The first one saw Seth Rollins cost Edge the title as Roman Reigns kept the gold.

The second one was bigger as John Cena made his WWE return after almost two years out. Cena’s last match was the Firefly Fun House clash with Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 36.

Cena lost that and was out of action for a while. However, the Leader of the Cenation was back and seemed to challenge Reigns after the clash.

However, Cena also spoke to the WWE Universe and he brought up a couple of interesting topics. One was how he was surprised seeing a sign that said they would cheer if he made an appearance.

Cena was booed a lot during his last run in WWE but the second bit was more interesting.

“I promise you this is not one night only. What is special is that this is the first night.”

John Cena set to appear on Raw

The former WWE Champion also confirmed he was going to be on Raw on Monday and it will be interesting to see what he says.

The last time Cena was in WWE, he was a free agent and was moving between SmackDown and Raw.

However, with his movie commitments out of the way, Cena could be a full-time wrestler for a few months at least.

That opens a ton of options for WWE and with the fans back, it will be interesting to see which route they take in all this.
