John Cena responds on losing to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam

WWE Star John Cena returned from his long absence from the company in July this year. Cena made it clear that he is back for the WWE Universal Championship and challenged Roman Reigns for a title match at SummerSlam.

Roman Reigns and John Cena

The main event at SummerSlam was an action packed one but Reigns managed to get the better of Cena and pinned him to retain his title. Cena’s return to the WWE did not go how everyone expected it to be.

On speaking with Jimmy Fallon Cena said:

” I had a wonderful match, I finished second place.”

Cena is not shying away from the fact that Reigns got the better of him. Cena will certainly return to WWE once him commitments with Hollywood are over.

The Demon and Roman Reigns

Reigns successfully defended his title against Cena and then Finn Balor on SmackDown. Reigns is set to face Balor (The Demon) at Extreme Rules come 26th September. Brock Lesnar has also returned to the WWE post Reigns’ match against Cena.

Brock later attacked Cena and sent the message straight. Lesnar made an appearance on this week’s SmackDown at MSG to challenge Reigns for the title. Although there has been no confirmation as of when Reigns and Lesnar will square off.

They will likely meet each other in the ring after Reigns is done with Balor at Extreme Rules and if Reigns is able to get the job done we can expect his clash with Lesnar to happen at anytime.

Reigns is definitely in a middle of a scuffle but will he emerge on top yet again?
