Former WWE Champion John Cena surprises impact wrestling star
WWE Superstar John Cena has been a legend of the game for a long time. However, the sixteen-time world champion is probably one of the greatest to step into the squared circle. Not only are the ordinary fans the admirer of Cenation, but other wrestlers from different promotions also look up to him.
Recently Cena followed Jake, an Impact Wrestling superstar, and it meant a lot to the young lad as he took to Twitter to share about it.
“(John Cena followed me today and it made me feel very cool)”
Cena is a significant presence in the locker room and has advocated for wrestlers like Big E and Daniel Bryan. In addition, he follows some of the extensive profiles in WWE like Roman Reigns, Liv Morgan, Becky Lynch, AEW star Adam Cole and even former WWE superstar Paige.
John Cena once paid IMPACT Wrestling’s Matthew Rehwoldt’s fine
Matthew Rehwoldt was a part of Russev’s stable alongside Lana in WWE. During an interview with Wrestling Perspective Podcast, Matt spoke about Cena’s help and big gesture. He was quoted saying,
“This was the SmackDown, I believe, before WrestleMania [34]. We had to fly right down to New Orleans for WrestleMania, and we got sat down. We get threatened with release gigantic fines… 10 thousand, 20 thousand dollar fines. All this stuff. The referee was gonna get fired, even though we were telling him, ‘Hey, great, do it, this is fun.’ The poor guy, I think he got fined and everything,”
He did mention with a follow-up tweet that it was John Cena who made arrangements of fine for them.
“Fun Fact: John Cena apparently paid our fine…”
Cena has always been a loving personality for new wrestlers and has always made his presence among these stars by helping and guiding them.
