JTG left an emotional message for Shad Gaspard
Former WWE star JTG posted a message to his longtime partner and friend Shad Gaspard on social media.
Shad passed away at Vince Beach last Sunday. He was 39 years old and will be remembered forever. His Cryme Tyme tag team partner JTG released a heartfelt note remembering his friend.
JTG and Shad first started teaming together in 2006 on Ohio Valley Wrestling shows. Between 2 runs on the main roster of WWE and wrestling on the independents beginning in 2014, Cryme Tyme never stopped being a team.

JTG thanked everyone for the outpouring of support during this difficult time. He stated that it helped him get through the terrible situation that happened last week.
He said there are moments of disbelief as this is such a shocking experience. “I have moments where I’m in disbelief and feeling a tremendous amount of hurt as soon as I start to reminisce about Shad and our relationship.”
JTG thanks several members
They “chilled for no reason” and had a great time. JTG has a ton of those memories with Shad Gaspard that weren’t in the ring. They fed off each other’s energy, worked out together, and saw the world together.
“I want to say thank you to all the friends, fans and family who reached out to me and Shads family during this difficult time. The outpour of love and support has definitely helped me get through this. I have my moments where I’m in disbelief and feeling a tremendous amount of hurt but as soon as I start to reminisce about Shad and our relationship I begin to smile,” JTG said in a post.
Gaspard had gone missing while swimming with his son at Venice Beach in California on May 17. In his final act, Gaspard instructed lifeguards to save his son’s life.
