Kalisto decided to mock Andrade on Twitter
WWE star Kalisto took to Twitter and mocked Andrade with an edited picture of the United States Champion.
Kalisto seemed to suggest he was Andrade’s father, and his translated Tweet took a bigger shot at the star:
“When children want to be like their dad”
Apart from winning his first main roster title in 2019, Andrade got engaged to Charlotte Flair in the New Year.
However, Kalisto, in January responded to Andrade’s championship picture on social media. He asked him to learn how to fight from his future father-in-law Ric Flair.
Kalisto said Andrade should enjoy the success as nothing lasts forever. Andrade jokingly answered that he had forgotten that Kalisto ever worked for WWE.
The banter continued as The Lucha House Party member brought up Andrade’s father-in-law, saying the senior Flair can teach the former NXT champion how to wrestle.
Since the 2019 draft that took place in October, Andrade has put up impressive in-ring performances on RAW. He won the United States Championship and then went on to defeat Ricochet too.
Kalisto congratulated Rey Mysterio, who picked up a win on Raw in September 2019 to earn a Universal title shot.
Andrade then responded to Kalisto’s tweet in Spanish. Via translation, Andrade stated,
“Congratulate me that I almost make him retire!! One question, are you still in #WWE?”
Kalisto later responded (via translation),
“Do not Cry. You only have work because you walk with a Flair.”
That prompted a response from Andrade’s girlfriend, Charlotte Flair, who claimed that Andrade was a champion because he was “pretty” while Kalisto wore a mask for a reason.
Kalisto hasn’t been able to replicate success a lot since going to Lucha House Party. However, Charlotte and Andrade both hold top titles in separate brands in WWE currently.
Charlotte is the NXT Women’s Champion while no one has been able to take the US title away from Andrade.
