WWE released Karl Anderson and his tag partner Luke Gallows recently

Karl Anderson has been one of the more vocal former WWE employees in recent times. The OC member was released alongside Luke Gallows from WWE in some shocking cost-cutting measures.

Gallows and Anderson were part of the well-received Boneyard Match at WrestleMania between Undertaker and AJ Styles. However, that wasn’t enough for the tag specialists to remain in WWE.

The pair should find work in other promotions once their no-compete clause is over. However, Anderson claimed one special sign might not be used anymore. The “Too Sweet” sign was used from their time in the Bullet Club and was also often brought up in WWE too.

A fan asked Anderson is they would use the sign or would WWE “send you a cease and desist”?.

Anderson claimed that they couldn’t risk using the sign anymore and also it was “dead”:

“Don’t need a Cease n Desist.

It’s gone, no more rub from us, consider it f***** dead.”

The OC member also has pinned a post on Twitter where he said that there was a big decision for them to make in 68 days.

This was done on 12 May, and it will be interesting to see what is up with the pair as they appear on a podcast. Gallows and Anderson were great during their time in Japan, and they were underused in WWE.

WWE does seem to have problems with regular tag teams as they pair random stars together. Scott Dawson and Dash Wilder also left the business recently, and they also were a throwback tag-team pair.

A lot of other stars were also released from WWE during their cost-cutting measures and that included Rusev, Zack Ryder and Heath Slater too.
