Karl Anderson took a swipe at WWE over their mental health update
Former WWE superstar and current Impact Wrestling World Tag Team Champion, Karl Anderson was trending worldwide after getting into a verbal fight with several fans on Twitter.
This was regarding WWE’s response regarding mental health counseling after the tragic death of former WCW/TNA star Shannon Spruill aka Daffney.
Anderson took a shot at his former employers for saying that they provide mental health counseling.
WWE recently issued a message to the roster about the access of company-paid mental health counseling to which Anderson responded with a tweet saying,
“They suck bro,”
He followed it up with innumerous amount of tweets on his Twitter account.
Anderson also lashed out at several fans on Twitter who called him out by calling them “marks” and challenged multiple fans to see him in public.
Anderson deleted a few of the tweets but some of them remained for fans to see.
Anderson also shot at the WWE NXT brand over Wednesday Night War with AEW Dynamite with this quote:
“What happened to The Wednesday wars [tears of joy emoji] F–k they gave up quick,”
Wrestlers are facing mental health issues
Mental health in wrestling has become an issue in recent times, with more wrestlers attempting suicide, facing depression. Therefore, mental health is an important topic to discuss.
There are a few current and former WWE stars who faced mental health issues like Alexa Bliss, Aleister Black, Sasha Banks aka “Boss” and Bray Wyatt.
Last but so not least Former NXT/TNA star Daffney recently passed away after an apparent suicide on Wednesday night after facing mental health issues for a long time.
As seen from a post of Global sports matters, A recent study shows that collegiate athletes have a 10-15% chance of developing a mental illness severe enough to warrant counseling.
