Karrion Kross spotted with new mask on Monday Night Raw
WWE NXT Champion Karrion Kross was spotted wearing a new outfit with a mask on Monday Night Raw during his fight against Ricochet.
According to a source from Cageside seats, the move was a marketable decision to profit from some new merchandising for the new RAW star. They were quoted saying:
“Karrion Kross’ new look on Raw is about making him marketable, for the purpose of selling toys, shirts, accessories, and so forth.”
This week, Cross debuted the mask before the fight with Ricochet. It was important to note, Scarlett is yet to appear by his side again. It seems the gimmick of the gladiator is the new role of the former NXT champion.
Kross has been featuring on Monday Night Raw for several weeks. On his debut, he was shocked by Jeff Hardy, who was returning after a long hiatus. Since then, he has been more dominant in his fights. Despite his wins, he has received a mild reaction from the fans.
Will Kross be given a push soon?
Kross has been an immense figure on NXT with his championship reign over two occasions. He has beaten the best of wrestlers in big matches. The stage has always been a place for Kross to display his all-round skills. He has made the developmental brand his own in less time.
After his move to RAW, it is a matter of time that he fights for the gold on the red brand. He is also in a rivalry with Samoa Joe, which is yet to culminate into a match. We will wait and see how Kross carries his gimmick in the next few months on RAW with the best of the best.
