Keith Lee made a big splash on his Raw debut but not many were impressed with some aspects of it
Keith Lee was the latest NXT star to jump onto the WWE Raw brand as he made his debut.
There had been rumblings about him getting a call-up soon, but it came as a bit of a surprise. Lee lost his NXT title to Karrion Kross at TakeOver, and before that could be digested he was confirmed to make his Raw debut.
However, Lee came out to new theme music and also wasn’t wearing his traditional colours. This was different from his time on NXT and that caught out several fans.
Lee, who is one of the most active wrestlers on social media, decided to calm some of his fans down.
Many had questioned the choice of entrance music, but Lee played that down and said it was out of his hands:
Music is out of my hands.
Period.
Leave it be. I'll sort it out later.

Another fan questioned him about the ring gear, and Lee, again, had to calm the fan down:
Leave it be and have some patience. Take a deep breath. It's going to be okay. I promise. Let ME handle that stuff. https://t.co/85jUeFT9AP

A big star on Lee’s radar
Lee started his WWE Raw career with a bang and went straight after Randy Orton. The Viper had punt kicked Drew McIntyre twice and Lee went up to challenge him.
The pair did meet later in the night but Orton was chased off by a returning McIntyre. While some claimed that Lee lost the match via DQ, the Limitless One cleared the air about that:
It was a no contest. Calm down lol. https://t.co/xi70jaGoIs

Some fans even backed Lee after his debut and claimed he didn’t have to explain anything to anyone. However, the former NXT Champion claimed this was his way of showing respect to the ones who supported him throughout:
Of course I don't *have* to. I don't owe anyone an explanation. It is simply my way of showing respect to the people who have supported me.
I don't want people caught up on small things when what *should* be acknowledged is on my DEBUT, I mixed it up with Orton. WAY bigger deal https://t.co/abbK0Et9Dv

Lee still made a big impression on his debut though. He took on one of the greatest ever and will have another crack at him at Payback.
Orton vs Lee could be a great match, and it will be interesting to see how it goes. As for the rest of Lee’s package, that might be secondary if he performs to his abilities in the ring.
The Limitless One is incredible to watch and Raw certainly got one of the best rising talents on their brand.
