Keith Lee posts emotional message amidst lack of action in WWE
WWE Superstar Keith Lee has taken to Twitter to send out a message to his fans and followers amidst his recent lack of screen-time.
Lee made his main roster debut in August last year after he had dropped the NXT Championship to Karrion Kross. Upon arriving on Monday Night RAW, it seemed like WWE would push him to the skies immediately, as he was inserted into the feud between Randy Orton and then-WWE Champion Drew McIntyre.
The ‘Limitless One’ even secured a huge PPV win over Orton at Payback just a week after moving to the main roster. However, it hasn’t gone per plans from that point onwards though.
Lee enjoyed a dominant run during the Survivor Series and also put up a fine show in the WWE Championship match against Drew McIntyre on Raw Legends Night back in January. Since, that he has fought in just three more matches and hasn’t been seen in the ring since 8th February when he defeated Riddle.
Lee was reported to be taking on Bobby Lashley and Riddle in a triple-threat match at WWE Elimination Chamber last month. But, he was pulled from the match and replaced with John Morrison. And he hasn’t been seen since on TV.
Keith Lee has a message for fans
Given that there hasn’t been any proper explanation provided to Lee’s absence from the screen for close to two months, fans have been growing frustrated over the situation.
On Thursday though, Lee took to Twitter to send a message to his fans, where he said that he appreciated the support he was getting while adding that he will explain everything regarding the situation surrounding him.
One of the most athletic ‘big men’ in the industry, Lee had looked like gold during his NXT Championship reign. But the momentum from his NXT days and his early push on the main roster has been sapped.
With very little time left for WWE WrestleMania 37, it seems like the ‘Limitless One’ may miss out on the Showcase of the Immortals this year.
