Former Divas Champion Kelly Kelly becomes the new entrant at Royal Rumble 2022
Royal Rumble 2022 will witness 30 men and women fighting to earn a spot in the main event of WrestleMania 38. WWE announced 18 participants, including the Smackdown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair.
It was recently announced that former Divas Champion Kelly Kelly will be making her appearance in Royal Rumble and a few other stars, including Lita, Summer Rae, The Bella Twins, Michelle McCool, and Mickie James.
Kelly Kelly took to Twitter and confirmed her participation in the Royal Rumble 2022.
“Here we go! #royalrumble2022 @WWE.”
Last Year, ‘The Est of WWE’ Bianca Belair did the unthinkable and booked her ticket to WrestleMania 37 by winning The Royal Rumble. She became only the second African-American after The Rock to win the Rumble in 2021.
So far, many potential superstars have become the winners, including Asuka, Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, and Bianca Belair. Flair was the only one who challenged for the NXT Women’S Championship then, while others challenged main roster titles.
However, fans are not really happy with WWE’s decision to reveal some of the legendary names taking part in the event, like Lita, Michelle McCool and Summer Rae etc.
The announcement removes the surprise element from the Women’s Royal Rumble, but as we know, WWE is a company that always have something to surprise the wrestling fans around the world. But the only question remains: who will become the next Royal Rumble winner for Women’s?
