AEW’s Kenny Omega VS WWE’s Roman Reigns – Who would win this dream match?

Published by

Kenny Omega is an executive vice president of All Elite Wrestling and also a competitor and is a popular name in the pro-wrestling circuit.

Kenny Omega

The 38-year-old Kenny Omega began trending on Twitter after Roman Reigns and The Usos defeated RK-Bro and Drew McIntyre in the main event of WrestleMania Backlash. Omega was initially surprised as he has not been competing for quite some time as he took time off in November last year to deal with some nagging injuries. As per reports, he also went under the knife to repair a sports hernia last month.

After trending all of a sudden, Omega tweeted: “Umm, why am I trending? I’ve done nothing but get sliced up and struggle through rehab all this year. *checks timeline* Oh, I see. We’re still doing that comparing thing every show…

You can see the tweet below:

One fan tweeted that the Tribal Chief Roman Reigns was better than Omega. Another fan replied to this comment and wrote that the Undisputed WWE Universal would not be able to last even 5 minutes against the former AEW World Champion.

Omega responded to the second tweet by saying that Reigns has been WWE’s top guy for a reason. He also mentioned how the match would surprise a lot of people.

“I’m sure he could. He’s their top guy for a reason and works hard to be that guy. I think the match would surprise a lot of people,” Omega responded.

Without a doubt, if this match ever happens, it would be a dream encounter between two generational talents.

What is next for The Bloodline?

Paul Heyman has claimed that The Bloodline is the most dominant faction of all time in pro wrestling. Roman Reigns is the longest-reigning Universal Champion while The Usos are the longest-reigning SmackDown Tag Team Champions.

The Bloodline with Paul Heyman

Randy Orton and Riddle said on this week’s episode of Raw that they are coming to SmackDown this week and they will demand a Tag Team Championship Unification Match. Reigns was the one who initially wanted The Usos to unify the tag titles but later he tore the contract which was to be signed to make the Tag Team Championship Unification match official.

It will be interesting to find out if The Bloodline accepts the challenge. As for the Head of the Table, he seems set to feud with Drew McIntyre over the next few weeks.
