AEW World Champion Kenny Omega wants to have a match with WWE Hall of Famer
The Current AEW World Champion, Kenny Omega, wants to go inside the ring with WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle before he retires.
According to Adam’s Apple (h/t Wrestling Inc.) Kenny spoke about facing Kurt Angle as his dream match. Omega had nothing but only praise for the WWE Hall of Famer. He also added that Angle is the Jack of all trades, and there won’t be anyone like him.
“I felt like I just missed out on maybe wrestling Kurt Angle, and that would have been a dream match for me.
“He’s a guy that I consider probably one of the best of all time. Especially for what I try to do in the ring, and I try to bring in athletics and real sports. He was a jack of all trades, and there won’t be anyone like him ever again, I don’t think.”
Omega also mentioned the demographics of AEW and how it is mixing with veteran wrestlers with newcomers.
“We were able to introduce some fresh faces that people hadn’t seen on TV, and I think that we’re mixing them in with established faces like the guys’ Daniel Bryan, Adam Cole, CM Punk,”
The AEW World Champion will face off Bryan in the AEW Grand Slam
AEW Dynamite Grand Slam show will be underway next week, and it will see Bryan Danielson, who recently signed with AEW from WWE will play his debut match against Kenny Omega.
Kenny Omega is the reigning AEW World Champion and it’s been a pretty long-going rivalry between the two, ever since Bryan made his first appearance in AEW.
