Kevin Owens brings up contract during WWE Raw promo

There have been questions regarding Kevin Owens and his WWE future with his contract running out

Kevin Owens brought up his contract during a promo on Raw and it was interesting to hear what the former Universal Champion had to say.

There have been rumours of Owens possibly heading off to AEW, especially with an exchange with The Young Bucks.

Kevin Owens is a former Universal Champion (WWE)

Adam Cole became the latest WWE star to join AEW, and the former leader of The Undisputed Era has teamed up with The Bucks.

RingSide news claims that Owens’ WWE contract ends in February 2022 and there is no surety of where KO will end up.

However, that didn’t stop Owens from speaking his mind on Raw. He cut a face promo while speaking to Big E, the current WWE Champion and this is part of what he said:

“It might be for 3 more months or 3 more years, every time I’m on WWE Raw, I’ll give the fans something to remember.”

KO and Big E then clashed in the final segment of the show, and it was the champion who came out on top.

However, E, also took a shot at Owens’ Mt Rushmore tweet in the past and claimed that this was not “Mt Rushmore”.

Is Kevin Owens the next star to become All Elite?

KO is one of the most talented stars on the WWE roster. However, KO hasn’t been given a fair crack at the top prize in a while.

Owens always put in 100% in the ring, and there is no doubt he can put on a show on AEW. There still is some time for WWE to put Owens in a top rivalry, and he could be someone that takes on Big E several times.

However, AEW does have its own pros. The Bucks and Cole already being on the roster is a huge plus and the possibility to take on opponents from Japan and other promotions could be tantalising to Owens.

Daniel Bryan (now Bryan Danielson) is enjoying his time on AEW while CM Punk also recently returned, which was a shock to many.
