Roman Reigns defeated Kevin Owens in a Steel Cage match on SmackDown
Kevin Owens took on Roman Reigns in a Steel Cage match on the final episode of WWE SmackDown in 2020 as he looked to avenge his title loss to Roman Reigns at TLC.
The two put on another physical show, but Reigns always looked like winning the fight. Plus, you may have known the results of the episode a few days in advance.
Jey Uso intervened to handcuff Kevin Owens to the cage as Reigns walked out to secure the victory and defend his belt. Now, there can’t be many more frustrating ways to lose a Steel Cage match.
However, KO put in two great performances against The Tribal Chief. KO may now be removed from the title picture after losing both his fights.
But, the former NXT and Universal Champion is proud of the effort he put up and promises his fans that he will not stop “fighting hard”.
Kevin Owens stays resilient despite Steel Cage loss
KO took to social media to post a cheerful message for wrestling fans. The Canadian is seen in the photo with his wife Karina Lamer, son Owen Steen, and daughter Élodie Leila.
The couple tied the knot in 2007 and have gone on to raise a wonderful family with each other.
In the message. Owens says that he will keep giving it his all “until there’s nothing left”, while hoping that something good should be waiting around the corner if he keeps fighting hard.
He ends the tweet by wishing everyone a happy festive time and says that he is right where he wants to be, with his family on Christmas day.
It will be interesting to see what happens on the next SmackDown. Owens would be smarting after this loss, especially after Uso’s interference.
