Kevin Owens gave it his all at TLC 2020 but was unable to defeat Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns and Kevin Owens put on a show at TLC 2020 as they battled for the WWE Universal title.
Owens had been in different mood ever since he targeted Reigns and Jey Uso, and he gave it his all at the PPV.
The TLC match was filled with dangerous spots as both man, Reigns and Owens, tried to destroy each other.
They also went through several tables, while chairs and ladders were used to up the brutality. Uso did have a role to play in this. Reigns’ cousin was first injured by KO to ensure he couldn’t interfere much in this clash.
However, he did return to stop Owens from getting the belt. Reigns then took advantage of this and just about managed to subdue Owens before keeping the title.
This was a hard loss for Owens, especially after all that he did but KO still had one positive message after the loss.
KO is thankful
KO posted just three words after the loss and wanted to thank all the fans after this story line.
While the former Universal Champion was unable to get the top title, he was finally back in a quality story line and we saw possibly the best Owens for more than a year.
Also, Owens wasn’t beaten easily and Reigns needed some help from his family to get the win.
It will be interesting to see what is up for Reigns next. The Big Dog needs a new rival and that might turn out to be Owens again.
The Canadian put on quite a show and he might have missed out on the title, but he still got a lot of love from the WWE Universe.
