Former Universal Champion Kevin Owens praises his friend and former Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn after WrestleMania 38
Sami Zayn might have come up short in the Anything Goes Match against Johnny Knoxville on the Night Two of WrestleMania 38. Nevertheless, the match created some genuine Attitude Era Vibes, and fans enjoyed it. However, someone from the locker room was also impressed by Sami Zayn’s performance, and it was none other than Kevin Owens.
Owens took to Twitter and shared his reaction after Zayn’s WrestleMania match-up. He called him the best in the world, and no one was better than him.
He’s the best in the fuckin’ world!
Every second of that absolutely ruled. There’s nobody better.
The former Universal Champion also posted a photo of the two and said we rule.
We rule.
Even though Zayn came short in the match, he put on an excellent show for the fans with all the weapons. Fans claimed that it was one of the best, if not the best, match of WrestleMania 38.
Sami Zayn also broke his character to praise Kevin Owens after his Stone Cold Steve Austin Match
Kevin Owen’s former Tag Team partner Sami Zayn recently took to Twitter and broke his character to praise the former WWE Universal Champion. Zayn said how proud he was of Owens, who got to compete in the main event of WrestleMania against someone like Stone Cold Steve Austin.
So fuckin proud.
Both Zayn and Owens have faced each other in WWE in both the main roster and NXT. The two even met each other on the independent circuit as well.
Owens faced off against the Legend Stone Cold Steve Austin in the main event of Night One of WrestleMania 38 in an impromptu No Holds Barred Match, which he lost.
