Former Universal Champion Kevin Owens says yes to the idea of facing Rey Mysterio one-on-one
WWE Superstar Kevin Owens is ready to face Rey Mysterio in a singles match after the latter picked his name along with Finn Balor when asked to choose a current star he would like to meet one-on-one.
KO took to Twitter and reacted to Mysterio’s comments about facing him, and Rey even mentioned that he’s been keeping a close eye on Kevin.
Owens responded – “Hell Yeah.”
“Hell yeah! Let’s do it.”
Owens has recently declared himself an entrant of Royal Rumble and plans to challenge Seth Rollins in a title match at WrestleMania as he wants his new best friend to defeat Roman Reigns for the Universal title.
Rey Mysterio picks Kevin Owens and Finn Balor as his dream opponents
Mysterio was recently made the cover of the upcoming WWE video game “WWE 2K22”. In a recent interview with Metro UK’s Alistair McGregor Rey was asked about his dream opponents from the current time.
The 619 stars mentioned that he has never clashed with these superstars one on one and would love to go out there someday. He was quoted saying,
“I have been keeping a close eye on Kevin Owens. You know, him and I have never clashed on a one-on-one. It has always been a 4-way match, not too long ago with Seth Rollins and Finn Balor. But Kevin Owens is the guy that I have my eyes on. Finn Balor is another guy that I would love to go out there and just compete within a one-on-one, you know. Those two guys are definitely at the top of my list right now.”
