Kevin Owens vs Murphy was the kickoff match for Extreme Rules 2020

Kevin Owens got a win over Murphy in an excellent kickoff match at Extreme Rules 2020.

WWE has made it a habit to announce surprise matches as part of its PPV kickoff shows. At The Horror Show at Extreme Rules, it was Owens vs Murphy and this was an excellent clash.

While this match didn’t have a lot of backstory going into it, the two stars put on quite a show. There weren’t any theatrics as this was a pure wrestling match and both of the wrestlers used their best moves.

In the end, it was KO who got the win. However, he shared one brilliant moment in the clash where he switched up his offence.

KO normally does a swanton from the top of the rope, but this time, he quickly swivelled his body, moved up the ropes and caught Murphy with a moonsault.

Owens also almost slipped on the ropes, and he shared a hilarious explanation about what was going through his head at this point.

Owens is also one of the funniest characters on social media, but it was great seeing him perform on a PPV after WrestleMania.
