In a revelation made by Killer Kross, while speaking to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, he agreed to the view that Vince is the reason why the older version of NXT is all but gone
NXT was Triple H’s brainchild which was introduced on February 23, 2010. It served as a developmental platform for WWE’s two main brands, Raw and SmackDown. Since its inception, fans have praised NXT for its content and sometimes even adored it more than Raw or SmackDown.
Killer Kross was asked if he believes that WWE is purposely dismantling Triple H’s vision of what NXT used to be. To this, Kross replied in the affirmative. Kross said, ”It’s hard to say it doesn’t feel like they’re doing that.”
Killer Kross was one of the brightest talents in NXT fighting under the ring name Karrion Kross. He began a winning streak that saw him winning the NXT Championship before having to relinquish the same due to injury.
More crossover rivalries between Raw and NXT superstars have been planned
After Dolph Ziggler, AJ Styles and Riddle, more superstars from the Raw brand maybe having feuds with superstars from WWE’s third brand.
As per an update by Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE reportedly wants at least one superstar from Raw dedicated to competing on NXT as well, such that the feud continues on both brands and more viewers of Raw tune into NXT.
NXT’s viewership ratings have dropped off in recent times since its repackaging into the NXT 2.0 era.
Dolph Ziggler picked up a win against Tommaso Ciampa courtesy of an assist from his tag team partner Bobby Roode. This could spark off another classic feud, now that Roode has made his comeback in NXT. Roode versus Ciampa would be another dream match, much like Ziggler versus Ciampa.
