Nikki Cross debuted a new superhero character and her husband, Killian Dain, opened up on who came up with the idea

WWE decided to mix things up a lot on this Raw as they prepared for Money in the Bank. The PPV has become one of the most exciting shows on the WWE calendar and this Raw featured several big qualifying matches.

Surprises were in store for the WWE Universe as Randy Orton, Drew McIntyre and AJ Styles all lost their Money in the Bank qualifiers.

Nikki Cross is now a superhero on Raw (WWE)

WWE did something different with the women as tag teams were set up for the qualifiers. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross teamed up to face Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax, and the Scot also brought up a surprise.

Cross came out dressed as a superhero and this gave off major Hurricane vibes. Bliss and Cross did win in the evening and it was Killian Dain who opened up on who was behind his wife becoming a superhero.

Dain and Cross got married in 2019 and it certainly will be interesting to see what route the female star follows.

It is great to see Cross getting to pitch her ideas to the creative team, and she too confirmed that it was her idea to start this superhero bit.

Will Nikki Cross get a new superhero name?

While Cross confirmed she didn’t really have any super powers during Raw Talk, the big question is if she gets a new name or not.

The Hurricane also followed a similar gimmick where he didn’t really have any powers, and it will be interesting to see what Cross does next.

Dain, the husband of Cross, did have a fun name for her by calling the new character a “Pocket sized Hurricane.”

WWE taking some risks with their characters is refreshing to say the least. Raw has been a bit boring for more than a year, and these results and character changes certainly made for intriguing storylines for next week too.
