Knox County mayor Kane honors WWE superstar Bianca Belair on SmackDown
WWE Hall of Famer and Knox County Mayor Kane appeared in the SmackDown episode to honor the hometown star, Bianca Belair.
WWE held this ceremony with Kane and Belair as SmackDown reached Knoxville, which is apparently the hometown of Belair. She joined the ceremony along with her husband, Montez Ford, at Knox County.
The Senate Joint Resolution honors Belair for her Championship win over Sasha Banks at WrestleMania 37 and her Royal Rumble. She also became the first African-American woman to do so.
She received this honor for being a graduate of Knoxville’s Austin-East Magnet High School and a University of Tennesse track star. For being true worth of the Senate’s praise and recognition.
The Senate Resolution was adopted on May 3. It was signed by Tennessee Senator Becky Massey and Senator Richard Biggs, Governor Bill Lee, Speaker of the Senate Randy McNally, and Speaker of the House Representatives Cameron Saxton (h/t Wrestling Inc.)
Belair attended the homecoming pep rally, where she was honored by her former high school.
SmackDown Live celebrated the special Homecoming Celebration for Blair, and WWE took to Twitter to share about the Honour ceremony,

Belair said,
“Go out there and experience life and try. Try, try, try, don’t be embarrassed to try, don’t let anyone make you feel uncool to try. Don’t be afraid to fail because eventually, you will succeed,”
Belair took her Twitter account to share about her honor ceremony.
WOW. What a day!
She also shared about being home after a long time,
