WWE legend Kurt Angle reacts to AEW star Kenny Omega statement
AEW star Kenny Omega recently mentioned that facing the WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle will be a dream match.
Reacting to this, WWE legend Kurt Angle said that, It would have been a classic and mentioned he had respect for Omega on his Twitter account.
“Thanks, @KennyOmegamanX – Would have been a classic. Much respect!”
Angle is a WWE Hall of Famer, a one-time United States Champion, one-time World Heavyweight Champion,4 times WWE Champion, and a Summer Olympics gold medalist.
He was also the champion of the inaugural Tag Team Championship with Chris Benoit.
Kenny Omega recently spoke to Adam’s Apple (h/t Wrestling Inc.) about facing Kurt Angle. Omega praised the WWE Hall of Famer and also mentioned that there won’t be anyone like him.
“I felt like I just missed out on maybe wrestling Kurt Angle, and that would have been a dream match for me.“
Kenny Omega vs Bryan Danielson in AEW Grand Slam
In his debut match for All Elite Wrestling Bryan Danielson will go up against AEW Champion Kenny Omega at Grand Slam.
Bryan was recently signed by AEW after wrestling for so many years in the WWE.
It would be great to see how Kenny will do against the American Dragon as Bryan is an experience contender, and it won’t be a cakewalk for the champion Omega.
