Kurt Angle opened up on his storyline with Sharmell was the worst he has ever done
WWE legend Kurt Angle has recently opened up on his stalking storyline with Sharmell in WWE back in the day.
Angle recently answered some of the fans questions on “Ask Kurt Anything” segment of The Kurt Angle Show and was asked about his storyline with Booker T’s wife.
Angle went on to be very clear about his feelings for the same, as he said:
“I have no idea where the idea came from. Vince McMahon is kind of a ribber. He’ll do stuff to mess with you a little bit and shove it in your face. I think that he thought I had this fetish for black women. I like all women, white, black, Hispanic, it doesn’t matter. My wife is half Hispanic and half Italian.”
“I think Vince thought I had this fetish for black women and he thought it would be a funny program. I was not comfortable by any means, I had so much respect for Booker T and Sharmell. To do that and pretend I was stalking his wife, it was the worst angle I have ever done. It was the worst storyline I’ve ever done. I did it anyway because I’ve always been a team player, but I was not comfortable doing it.”
The Olympic Gold medalist made it known this was the worst storyline he has ever been a part of. He talked about how he respected Booker T and Sharmell and did not want to pretend like he was stalking T’s wife. Angle also went on to add that McMahon did stuff to mess around and he thought this segment would be funny.
Will Kurt Angle ever fight Brock Lesnar in a shoot fight?
Angle recently talked about how a shoot fight between him and Brock Lensar was a possibility back in the day. The two faced off in the ring under normal settings a couple of times but a shoot fight never happened.
A shoot fight refers to a real or unscripted fight with a wrestling event. Angle revealed that he never would’ve fought Lesnar because of their friendship. However, he also added that if the right money ever came up he would have done it and so would’ve the former WWE universal champion.
As interesting as it would have been to see these two go at it in a shoot fight, the odds of it actually happening are pretty low.
