Ric Flair betrayed Charlotte Flair to start a romance angle with Lacey Evans
Things took a new turn between Ric Flair and Charlotte Flair this week as the Nature Boy betrayed his daughter to help Lacey Evans win on this week’s WWE Monday Night RAW.
Charlotte wasn’t expecting Ric Flair to show up when he did during the duo’s fight on the Red Brand. Not only that, he put Evans’ foot on the rope to save her from the pin.
He later tripped Charlotte and helped Evans to pin her by not letting the Queen kick out. After the fight, Evans and Slick Rick left together while Charlotte was left dumbfounded.
The father-daughter pair had a similar tussle last week but they made up after the fight. This time, though, there is no doubt where Ric Flair’s allegiance lies.

The pair was then spotted backstage, where Evans said that she’d go and ‘change at the hotel room’. Evans has made it a point to make Charlotte aware of whatever she does with Ric Flair.
Whether it’s her kiss with Ric earlier this month, or tweets where she calls him “daddy”, it is evident that WWE wants to advance this feud on the basis of both women’s relations with the Nature Boy.
Earlier on Tuesday, Evans had another verbal jab ready for Charlotte. She quoted the tweet where Charlotte says “I’ve got to go teach a classless woman how to act like a lady. before their match on RAW.
To this, Lacey Evans said that she ‘learnt more in one night’ with Ric Flair than Charlotte did in her life with him.
It is nice to see Ric Flair finally being involved in a more comprehensive sense after being berated on the show in recent times and made to look weak.
However, this storyline with Evans and Ric Flair hooking up is a little jarring, to say the least.
