Former WWE star Lana posted a Twitter message after WWE’s recent releases
Support has been coming in from all corners of the wrestling world as WWE shared another list of releases.
This came as a bit of a surprise given that WWE had cut Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman, amongst others, just a few months back.
However, that wasn’t enough for the wrestling giants. Stars such as Mia Yim, Keith Lee, Karrion Kross, Scarlett Bordeaux and Nia Jax were some of the 18 that were released.
Some of these stars had just made it to the main roster, but that doesn’t seem to factor in for WWE.
There have been reports of Jax being cut for not being vaccinated. However, there was a lot of support for the stars that now will have to search elsewhere for opportunities.
Lana, who was one of the names cut by WWE in the past, posted a great message for all the 18 stars that were released.
“My heart breaks for all the releases. You are all in my thoughts & prayers. Great things are coming“
WWE stars to bounce back soon?
Lana knows what it is like to be released and while she has had other projects in the pipeline The Ravishing Russian is yet to sign for another promotion.
Her husband, Miro, is one of the top stars on AEW and he too was cut by WWE before his wife got the same treatment.
Most stars released by WWE have ended up on different promotions and it will be interesting to see where these new free agents feature.
They will have to wait for their no-compete clauses to finish, which ranges from 30 to 90 days, depending on where the wrestler was featuring.
