Asuka was tormented by Alexa Bliss but Lana came out in support of her friend
Asuka had a tough time on Raw as she faced off against Alexa Bliss in the main event. The WWE Raw Women’s Champion first took part in a weird playground segment with Bliss.
However, the main event was the real talking point. This was a Bliss in a different mood as she switched to a darker self and destroyed the champion. Bliss then flipped back to her old happy self and even spoke out in The Fiend’s deep voice.
A lot of people were concerned for Asuka as the champion has become a bit of a loner these days. Her tag partner and co-champion, Charlotte, is dealing with father issues. Lacey Evans has teamed up with Ric Flair and Charlotte is distracted.
However, there was some support from another quarter as Lana posted a simple message to the Japanese star, after the freaky playground segment.
The missed chance for Lana
Lana was to face Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax for the tag titles as Asuka’s partner. However, she was injured by the then tag champions and Charlotte became her replacement.
The WWE star hasn’t said much since the injury but did post a rather scary image of what all had been injured.
It is to be seen when Lana comes back from her injury. She hasn’t said much since that and this was her first message in weeks.
The Ravishing Russian was in great form alongside Asuka and could have won the tag titles, her first belts in WWE.
However, she has to wait a bit before that happens now. As for Asuka, she might have finally met her match.
Bliss got a clean win over the champion and the pair could end up facing at the Royal Rumble.
