Lana is set to star on VH1’s Surreal Life, later this year
Former WWE women’s superstar Lana was released in June this year by the WWE. She had spent 8 years in the promotion, and it has worked wonders, in her coming a long way in comparison to her 2011 self.
Prior to signing up with the WWE, Lana kept juggling many a profession. She had joined a girl group, named No Means Yes, back in 2009.
The group was affiliated with popular R&B singer Ne-Yo. However, just a year later the group disbanded.
However, her looks landed her small-time roles in Hollywood Films, as she slowly made her way up, before finally joining the WWE.
In a recent Tweet, promoting the new series Surreal Life, Lana highlighted how far she has come since 2011.
The 36-year old, revealed that she was left with just $50 in her bank account in August 2011. Here is what she had to say:
“I only look back to remind myself of how far I have come from only having $50 in my account in August 2011 ! Check me out on Surreal Life this fall on @VH1.”
The series Surreal Life was a massive hit in the early 2000s. It is a reality show featuring stars who were big back in the day.
VH1 has recently decided to give the series a reboot. The original show which ran from 203 to 2006, will be returning after 15 years.
The series will feature notable names like ex-NBA star Dennis Rodman, former adult actress Stormy Daniels, Lana, Tamar Braxton and several others.
It is set to air this fall on VH1.
