WWE star Lana revealed her goal for 2021
WWE RAW superstar Lana took to social media to reveal her goal for 2021 as the star prepares for the upcoming year.
She put out two tweets which reveal her intentions of becoming WWE RAW women’s champion in the next year.
She says that it is her ‘new year goal’ and she wants to achieve it no matter how ‘unimaginable’ it is.
The current RAW women’s champion, Asuka, looks dominant and has been without decent competition for the belt in recent times. Let’s hope Lana is able to give the Japanese a run for her money in 2021.
Lana announces her goals after a disappointing end to 2020
Lana had a happening few weeks as 2020 came to a close. On the RAW episode following Survivor Series 2020, she came the closest to actually winning the belt in recent times.
Lana challenged Asuka for the WWE RAW women’s championship. However, the match was ruled as a ‘no contest’ as Asuka was attacked by Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler who were in the commentator’s section.
Lana teamed up with Asuka to defeat the two shortly after, but did not get another shot at any belt.
WWE handed her a kayfabe injury on the 14th December episode of RAW. Lana beat Nia Jax but was attacked by Jax and Baszler after the bell which led to the injury.
She was then pulled out from TLC 2020 where she was scheduled to partner Asuka against Jax and Baszler for the tag team title. Ultimately, the Japanese teamed up with the returning Charlotte Flair to win the belt.
Let’s hope Lana gets her fair shot in 2021 and wins her first title with the promotion ever since she was signed by WWE NXT in 2013.
