Taya Valkyrie has the blessing of Lana as she signs contract with WWE
Kira Renee Magnin-Forster, better known by her in-ring name Taya Valkyrie, signed a professional contract with WWE on February 24th, 2021. And just after the news was announced, she shared a post on her Instagram.
The Canadian wrestler mentioned how signing a contract WWE has been her dream. Valkyrie has started training at the WWE Performance Centre.
Valkyrie, who made her name at Impact Wrestling as the Impact Knockouts Champion, stated how she had travelled, learnt, and sacrificed just so she could have this contract in her possession.
And wishing her all the best on her move was WWE RAW superstar Lana. The American wrestler shared the photo of Valkyrie signing her new contract and congratulated the newcomer.
Lana is targetting WWE tag team titles
Before she congratulated Valkyrie, Lana posted an Instagram story of herself training in in the gym.
She captioned it saying that it was her 2nd training session of the day and that she is going for the WWE tag team titles.
Lana was infamously handed a kayfabe injury ahead of TLC 2020 in December just to accommodate the returning Charlotte Flair. That cost Lana her tag team title shot with Asuka at the PPV.
Nevertheless, she was handed a chance at glory again earlier this month when she and Naomi won the #1 contender match for the tag team title against Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax.
Good for her! The dates are not yet announced but it seems like this will be her chance to land her first belt with the promotion.
