Former United States Champion Damien Priest talks about The Judgement Day
WWE Superstar Damian Priest recently made a new alliance with Edge and formed a new faction known as The Judgement Day. It all started at WrestleMania when the Raw superstar assisted the Hall of Famer against AJ Styles.
They added Rhea Ripley and became an assignable force known as The Judgement Day. However, the faction is no longer under Edge’s guidance, and Damian Priest is looking like the group’s future leader.
Priest recently shared a new conversation with Phil Strum of “U.S.A Today”, where he shared his input on the “new feel.”
“Yeah, this whole thing has been super cool,” Priest said. “Being a show’s focal point is never a bad thing, right? So I enjoyed it a lot. I’ve got to spend some time alongside Edge.” (Wrestling Inc.)
He also talked about how the group has transitioned into something good and all-equal state.
“I learned from him, and now like you said, the group has transitioned into an all-equal state. I’m looking forward to it,” Priest said. “Rhea, myself, and Finn, we have good chemistry, and we get along really well, and we talk on ideas and whatnot. Everything just flows. We’re all on the same page, so this is gonna be good. This is going to work out really well for us.”
There was no sign of The Judgement Day on last week’s RAW when it was announced that Rhea Ripley would be unable to challenge Bianca Belair for the “Raw” Women’s Championship at Money in the Bank due to injury. However, the group did appear in a tag match on WWE Main Event.
Damian Priest talks about WWE Legend Scott Hall
Former United States Champion Damien Priest talked about Late WWE Legend Scott Hall in an interview with Under the Ring: Pro Wrestling Conservation as he recently did the surfer walk after this legend died.
“He was just cool as the character, I’ll tell you that much, I mean, so in a way, he wasn’t really the character. It is just him, and I remember him in the NXT. He came in as a guest coach, and you know, I got to watch some of my matches back with him, and that experience alone it is so cool. He is one of my idols, and now he’s giving me advice sitting down with me watching my matches and then me asking him whether it will be ok if I did the walk and, you know, the razor’s Edge, and he was like anything man that would remind people of me, so the super cool guy and I’m glad I got to spend some time with him.”
The Legendary Scott Hall passed away this year in the month of March due to heart attacks.
