Following the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble, WWE Hall of Famer Lita thanked fans for the support they showed her
Lita had a memorable night at the Royal Rumble PPV event. The event took place at ‘The Dome at America’s Center’. Taking part in the Women’s Royal Rumble match, the WWE Hall of Famer came in as the 26th entrant.
Although she couldn’t emerge victorious, her fans made sure that their love was felt.
She eliminated another WWE Women’s veteran Mickie James in no time before going on to hang around for more than 10 minutes.
Lita was eliminated by Charlotte Flair.
Following the event, an elated Lita thanked her fans for the support she received. Adding that it meant the world to her, Lita wrote:
“Fully felt the love and support tonight at the @wwe#RoyalRumble2022 it meant the world to me. Thank you!”
Lita pleased with AEW “strengthening women’s roster”
Britt Baker has been dominating the AEW Women’s division for quite a long time. WWE Hall of Famer Lita recently pointed that out, stating that it was turning out to be a one-person show.
But now, it looks like her views have changed. Speaking on the recent episode of Booker T’s Hall of Fame podcast, Lita was pleased with AEW strengthening the women’s roster.
She was quoted as saying:
“I think they’re finally starting to add and strengthen that roster. Because for a while, and this tends to happen a lot, something catches fire and then you go with it, and it ends up being a one-person show. So it was like the Britt Baker show for quite a bit there, and then they were like, ‘oh, wait we can’t just throw Nyla to the wayside after we’ve used her, we can’t throw Ruby.’ You’ve got to build everybody up and kind of keep it going.” [via Wrestling Inc]
