Liv Morgan is hopeful of winning a WWE title soon but she had high hopes for Sasha Banks vs Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 37
Liv Morgan might be one of the most popular female talents in WWE but she isn’t set to perform at WrestleMania 37.
Morgan is part of the Riott Squad and she is keen on winning a title soon. The 26-year-old has had an on and off relationship with Ruby Riott since making her main roster debut.
While the tag titles is something she would like to win, Morgan also brought up another fight that should steal the show at WrestleMania 37.
Morgan was speaking to Dayton 24/7 (h/t Fightful) and had huge expectations from Sasha Banks vs Bianca Belair at WrestleMania 37.
Banks is one of the best female wrestlers ever in the history of WWE while Belair is a rising star. Belair won the 2021 Royal Rumble and Morgan back the two women to perform:
“I’m really looking forward to Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. That’s going to be a show-stealer. They have so much to prove, as far as Bianca showing she is one of the best and Sasha maintaining.”
Morgan, however, didn’t pick a winner saying that it was a “toss-up” on who would get the SmackDown women’s title.
Morgan also lauded how quickly Belair had risen up the ranks in WWE as she was set to fight at WrestleMania after just two years with the company.
Morgan was also asked about what she wanted to do at WrestleMania 37. She doesn’t have a match yet but Morgan was keen on winning tag team gold:
“I want to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. If I had the choice, Ruby and I are going to win our first championships in WWE and it’s going to be the Tag Team Championships and all is going to be right in the world.”
Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler are currently holding the gold. However, there are several teams keen on claiming the titles.
Belair and Banks have failed once but they will have another shot at Fastlane. Baszler and Belair were also attacked by Tamina and Natalya, as the veteran pair sent them a big message.
WWE does have a problem with the women’s tag division. Peyton Royce and Billie Kay were a great team as the IIconics but they were split up.
Royce started teaming up with Lacey Evans for no reason. Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross were a decent team too but they were split up too. However, this made sense since Bliss teamed up with Bray Wyatt and she became something more frightening.
