Liv Morgan called dibs on fighting Ember Moon

Liv Morgan has called out injured Ember Moon for a match when she makes a comeback to the ring.

Moon was speaking about her injury recently on WWE Backstage, and Morgan tweeted she wanted to fight her first when Moon was back:

“I want first when you’re back buddy.”

Last July, Morgan came seconds away from defeating Charlotte Flair on SmackDown. That loss sent her into a downward spiral that led to her disappearance from WWE TV.

Back and looking to move up the ranks in the women’s division, she confronted the now-NXT women’s champion Charlotte on Monday night and challenged her to a match.

The ensuing contest elevated Morgan’s star even as she once again tapped to The Queen’s Figure Eight submission. Morgan has been building momentum for herself with every passing week, including consecutive victories over Ruby Riott.

Liv was also part of the Elimination Chamber match that was won by Shayna Baszler in dominant fashion, and she defeated Natalya on the pre-show of Night 2 of WrestleMania 36.

“I look back at my career in WWE — I’ve been here five years,” Moon began. “I look back, and yeah, I should have been the one to defeat Asuka’s streak, or ‘Aw, man, me and Bayley from SummerSlam, I wish I’d done more.’ The more and more I sit back and look at everything I’d re-do, I think about my injury currently.

“Realizing that I may have a career-ending injury. I’m coming back from the hardest injury and I might not have a chance to redeem myself of all the things I wanted to do and I wanted to do in my future. It’s so hard to look back and regret, when I try to look forward.”
