Liv Morgan opens up on her love for Britney Spears in a recent interview
Liv Morgan wore a special outfit this past week on Monday night Raw which looked to be inspired by world famous musician Britney Spears. Morgan recently revealed that it was in fact inspired by Spears and went on to share her love for the musician.
While recently in conversation with Complex, Morgan was asked about her outfit and to which she answered:
“It was Britney’s theme, but it was a coincidence, I had this outfit packed in my little gear bag, just in case, for any kind of promos or anything backstage that I get to do that’s not in ring gear. I brought it and Britney just got freed and I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, it’s the perfect opportunity to whip out this Britney-inspired, Oops!…I Did It Again’ themed gear, I was a huge Britney fan growing up, I had everything. Posters, bedsheets, all her albums, I had her concerts on tape and I just watched her concert back-to-back. I loved Britney and I’m so happy that she finally gets to live life on her terms, the way that she wants.”
Morgan talks about how she has been a big fan of Spears for a while. She even revealed that she had everything from posters to bedsheets and to concerts on tape while growing up. The WWE superstar also talked about how she’s happy that the pop star finally got free from years of conservatorship which stopped her from having full control of her life.
Liv Morgan is currently next in line for what seems to be the biggest opportunity of her career. Morgan is next to challenge Becky Lynch for her Raw women’s championship. After months of battling Bianca Belair, The Man now faces a fresher challenge in the form of Morgan.
Morgan got the opportunity a couple of weeks ago on Raw when she won a fatal 5-way match. The match included Belair, Rhea Ripley, Carmella and Queen Zelina. It was Morgan who prevailed on top and got the title shot. Lynch was quick to react and sent out a message for the number one contender. It will be interesting to see how Morgan does against The Man when the two face each other in the future.
