Last night on WWE Extreme Rules 2021, Liv Morgan defeated Carmella in a high-intensity match up; it was a long due for her, So after winning, she took to Twitter to share a heartfelt post,
Morgan credited this victory to the WWE universe and sent gratitude towards the WWE Universe.
“I am where I am because of u guys… Thank u so much WWE universe. You have my heart forever”
Lastly, she mentioned that the fans have her heart forever.
A close matchup between Carmella and Liv at Morgan Extreme Rules
Carmella was off to a great start and was toying with Morgan, but Morgan tried fighting back. The momentum was with Carmella until the match went outside. That’s when Morgan took advantage and drove Carmella into the announce table.
Carmella did fight back with some of her maneuvers but couldn’t get past Morgan after a while as she took complete control of the game.
It was all Morgan after that as she didn’t give any chance to Carmella to get any momentum again as he brought her back to the ring and hit the Oblivion Slingshot flat liner to score the pinfall.
She picked up a big win, and it will definitely put her in the title contention for the future. This was the first match of the Extreme Rules. It set off a good platform for the whole event.
Morgan challenged Carmela in SmackDown live and finally got her redemption. She was defeated by Zelina Vega last night on SmackDown.
