Former WWE Champion Bobby Lashley’s ringside manager MVP suffers a significant injury

Last week on Monday night Raw, then-WWE Champion Bobby Lashley clashed with Randy Orton in a title match in which Lashley’s manager MVP got severely injured after being hit by a vicious RKO.

MVP is injured

The news was confirmed by WWE on their Twitter account,

“Due to an RKO from @RandyOrton this past Monday night on #WWERaw, @The305MVP suffered a broken rib and is out indefinitely.”

Lashley was along with MVP during the match. The Apex Predator hit an RKO and almost got the win against The Al-Mighty until MVP dragged Lashley out towards the apron.

This led to Orton’s tag-team partner Riddle’s involvement in a spat with MVP, which made Orton really angry. The Viper went outside and knocked out MVP with an RKO, which led to a broken rib, and as a result, MVP will be out of WWE for an indefinite time.

The Al-Mighty successfully defended the title against Randy Orton. He gave a tough fight to Lashley, but eventually, Lashley got the victory by giving a mighty spear and knocking Orton out.

The Viper even posted on his Instagram account before the match a picture of Number 15 indicating that he will become a 15-time world champion with the win.

But unfortunately for Orton, this wasn’t meant to be as he fell short against Lashley. After the match, he posted another picture of number 14 as he remained the 14-time world champion.

Orton’s last WWE Championship reign came in for only 22 days on 25 October 2020 in the Hell in a Cell WWE PPV against Sheamus.
