Kushida calls out Sasha Banks after she comments on her win against Reginald on SmackDown
This week’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown had an intergender match between WWE SmackDown Women’s champion Sasha Banks, and Reginald.
Carmella and Banks have been involved in a feud in recent times. And more often than not, Carmella’s sommelier Reginald has found a way to insert himself in their rivalry.
Fed up of this, Banks stated that Carmella could have another shot at the title. But, only if Reginald faced the Boss inside the ring in an intergender match.
The two faced each other on this week’s SmackDown and the match saw Banks on the attack since the first minute. Reginald ducked and dodged her attacks and a chunk of their bout happened outside the ring.
Banks even had time to smack Carmella’s glass of wine, who was seated at the commentary table. A Bank Statement was enough to make Reginald tap out, and Banks had some words to say after sealing an impressive victory.
The champion wrote on her Twitter account:
“Get used to me as a winner. Gender doesn’t matter when you’re a boss. #LegitBoss“
Did Kushida call out Sasha Banks after her win against Reginald?
While it was an empowering message to the WWE Universe, one WWE NXT wrestler saw an opportunity for himself.
Kushida, who fights on the Gold Brand, replied to Banks’ tweet. He simply wrote “interesting about that.” in what could be a challenge to the SmackDown women’s champion.
Fans thought the same as they replied to his tweet getting hyped up about a possible future encounter between the two.
That is a bit tough to happen. They fight on different brands and WWE works hard to adhere to the PG guidelines.
But while there are hurdles, this could act as a starting point to any future feud.
