Eva Marie has returned to the WWE after being more than 4 years away from the promotion
On the 4th of August 2017, Eva Marie and WWE parted ways. After being more than three years away from the promotion, PWinsider in October 2020, reported that she had signed a new WWE contract.
Seven months from then, she made her return to the WWE on the 3rd of May on Monday Night Raw, through a vignette which promoted the ‘Eva-lution’.
Marie claiming to be a super role model didn’t sit well with Bayley initially. She hit back at Marie tweeting, “Or super dumb?”. And now, Mandy Rose has also hit out at Marie and the WWE for acknowledging her as a super role model.
Bayley had quote tweeted WWE’s post of Marie, with the caption, “This is why I hate you idiots.”
Rose then joined in, seconding Bayley’s tweet.
She wrote:
“Do they just think by adding “Super” in front of it is what makes it different?? Just like when they made someone a “Goddess” when a “Golden Goddess” already existed. SMH.”
Eva Marie hits back at Mandy Rose and Bayley
Marie didn’t hold back seeing Rose and Bayley fire shots at her. She gave a simple and composed reply saying that the WWE deserves an upgrade like the ‘Eva-Lution’.
This is what Marie replied:
“The @WWE Universe deserves their Upgrade. The #EVALution.”
Marie has often been criticized for her lack of wrestling skills. It will be interesting to see how the WWE progresses her storyline. Who knows what difference a hiatus of more than four years would have made.
