WWE star Mandy Rose explains about her moving from Raw to NXT.
Mandy Rose has been one of the superstars of WWE Raw, but she has recently moved from RAW and ended up in NXT, which brought quite a wave of discussions among the WWE Universe.
Rose recently talked about all of it in an interview with Steven Muehlhausen of Dazn (h/t EWrestling News) about how this moving came. First, she mentioned that she wanted a rebranding in character and wanted to evolve, which led to this decision to switch brands. Second, rose expressed how much she is having fun in NXT and has been more creative than ever. Lastly, she compared Mandy 2.0 with the NXT 2.0 and how it will be a great combination.
“It’s rebranding my character a little bit. I always think it’s great to evolve. I believe change is always good as well. So I wanted to switch things up a little bit. So I’m having a lot of fun in NXT. It’s been a great experience so far. I have a little bit more creative say as well, which is really cool. The whole new brand of NXT 2.0 and Mandy 2.0, it’s all coincides. It’s just the beginning.”
Mandy Rose looks to bring some change after moving to NXT from RAW
Rose continued while talking to DAZN that NXT needed a woman like her. She mentioned how they need a mainstream superstar and how it will help them grow and evolve at the same time.
Rose believes that she has a lot of mainstream qualities, so she wants to help other amateur stars of NXT in how they look, how they dress, and even how they would be interviewed. She wants to make them grow in whatever way possible.
“Sometimes switching it up is always good. NXT needed a woman like me. Like I said in my promo last week, they needed a mainstream superstar to be able to help some of the women evolve. I don’t have the most experience in wrestling compared to some of the women and a lot of the women in all of WWE. But when it comes to mainstream qualities, I have a lot of those.
“So I feel like why not come and help some of these women, whether it’s anything related to WWE, or whether it’s the way they dress, the way they look, the way they present themselves, the way they are perceived, the way they speak in interviews, and the list goes on and on.”
