Marc Mero blames Playboy for straining marriage with Sable
Marc Mero and Sable were a real-life couple after introducing themselves to the WWE. However, Sable is currently the wife of Brock Lesnar after their marriage in 2006.
Sable’s Playboy shoot was the most talked about at that time and Mero believes it caused problems between the pair. This included Sable spending time at the residence of Hugh Hefner instead of returning home.
Speaking to Our House podcast, he says: (h/t Ringside News)
“At the time it was a discussion that her and I had that we decided to do it. Just a horrible decision. You look back on decisions and think ‘what was I thinking’ you know but what’s done is done. We move on, we make mistakes in life and hopefully those mistakes become learning experiences. But it was not a good decision to make for our life, our marriage, our family, and everything else. Next thing you know, we’re at the Playboy parties all the time with Hugh Hefner.”
Her career was built with controversies, which eventually led to a divorce in a later period. Sable came back in 2003 to WWE, which Marc Mero had no clue about as per his recent claiming.
Marc Mero’s revelation in 2019
Mero spoke about his marriage ending with Sable two years ago saying that he found that she was cheating on him with The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar. Lesnar and Sable have been married for the last 15 years now and has never really come back in public.
Lesnar, meanwhile is absent from WWE action for over a year now after losing the title to Drew McIntyre last year. He is hoping to return by the end of the year after reports emerging that WWE might host an event in Saudi Arabia.
Brock Lesnar and Sable together have two sons, 7-year-old Turk and 6-year-old Duke.
